can anyone recommend me what the "general consensus" is as to what an amazing house album to get is? I know thats pretty vauge but let me put it this way...whats an album everyone would be like "oh yea thats definately good house that everyone's heard at one point or another"?

Danny Tenaglia - Back to Basics is definitely one of the best house albums there is.
EDIT:
Also if you want a more beachy vibe, THIS is perfect for the summer. I love this CD (CD 1, haven't heard CD 2 and i probably never will). But CD 1 has a great trackselection, im not sure as to where you can find the CD nowdays..i have Disc 1 ripped in my computer..someone lent it to me a loooooong time ago. |

I personally love the Danny Howells GU027: Miami discs. Esp. disc one, from Light Shine to Kathmandu. Great summer album.
That discogs link looks promising too -- I liked that tracklist. |
