why do people smoke weed like <this> but smoke cigarretes like >that<

ya, i guess this wasn't for music discussion...
just wondering why people smoke weed with with the tips of their thumb and index and why people smoke cigarrettes between their index and middle fingers?
I decided to bum a smoke from a friend today and he almost swatted down the cigarrette when I was holding it the "weed" way |

cuase by the time the blunt or joint goes down u wanna smoke every last inch of it so u need to use the tips of your fingers cuase that gets hot
cigarettes usually have filters and u can just use your whole fingers. |

poeple whos moke weed are lazy and unproductive, so they utilize their whole hand gripping the joint.
when smoking cigarettes however you can drive with 1 hand with the cigarette in it and the other talking on the cell phone. Also pick up stuff while your cigarette is in between your fingers

i dont think the ghetto has glass pipes blown inside out, or 12" hookahs, or double bubblers.
bring back to strictly phillies and ez widers...bring it truely back to the streets
and to djconf, the thumb index allows you to smoke the clip, cigarettes have filter that allow your index and middle finger to hold it without burning your hand. there is also the 3 finger method, the thumb index and middle finger grippin the joint so you could pull it easier. =) |

I useually hold my joint between middle and index finger by the way.. guess it kinda depends how you roll your joint.. with or without a filter tip (just a piece of paper folded, M-shape useually, with the remaining lenght wrapped around it) Still gets a bit hot from time to time, but not nearly as hot as the actual rolling paper just above the tip :)
Seen some guy in france roll a piece of cigaret, just broke off like 2cm of a cigaret, in to his joint.. why the .. then youll get tabacco in your mouth and stuff (and its a waste) |
