One of America's fastest Emerging Artists. Retrobyte gears up for his debut release on Undermine Records, Hot Damn. Another perfectly crafted track paves the way for Retrobyte's unforgettable summer. The Hot Damn ep, a must own for the progressive dance music lover, contains an Original Mix, Radio Edit, and Retrobyte Rerub Mix.

This very talented Artist appeared almost if out of nowhere with the best new progressive sounds. His tunes gained worldwide support literally overnight, slipping into dj sets like, Noel Sanger, Burufunk, D:FUSE, Sander Kleinenberg, Hernan Cattaneo and was featured by Gabriel & Dresden in March on their BBC Essential Mix.
His track, Going Down, was called the "jam discovery of 2006" by Gabriel & Dresden and has been a staple on their worldwide tour. The Going Down single will be released on Organized Nature with a remix by Ozgur Can and a followup release of "the Remixes" by Undermine Records, with remixes by Mike Hiratzka, Jay Sustain, and debuting the downtempo sounds of Blue Massive.

If anyone has heard "Going Down" by Retrobyte (and who hasn't by now) this track pushes his ever evolving sound further and into more proggy territory. The Original is somewhat techy but the main riff is so addicting it's sick! The Rerub explores a deeper darker progressive side that is unique to Retrobyte.
I have been dropping both promos of this track in a lot of my sets and it never dissapoints. |

Thank you so much! It's coming out on vinyl in a week or two - just have to wait for the germans to get their together and press the damn thing ;) It's coming back out on beatport at the same time too. Hopefully the TTD remix will see the light of day on Beatport - I'm working with the guys to get it up there :) |
