| Pachas bottles aint that expensive. Prob 300-350 for Goose if anything. But what I cant understand is why ppl get bottles, aside from wanting to be seen. Im sure a standard bottle can produce no more than 2-3 drinks per person for 4 ppl, if even that. Arent u just better off buying it at the bar ? Seems like its def. much cheaper and u dont even have to buy a table. Personally, it doesnt matter much cause I just stick to redbull and water but whatever. :conf: |

Not always. If you've got a few heavy drinkers, it's sometimes cheaper to get the bottle. One liter of Grey Goose is 33 oz., at 1.5 oz./shot. So that's 22 shots, at $15 each if you buy them at the bar, which is $330. The other thing is that you control the strength of your drinks stronger, so if you like them light or really strong, you can do so. I mix drinks strong at home, and I get more than 8 drinks/ 1L bottle, too.
Now if your bartender pours drinks heavy because you're a regular, then it's cheaper to go that route. |

Dude, you need to call PACHA and talk to them because there are different VIP areas all over that club. There is one on the Dance floor, mezzanine level, 2nd floor and on the 5th floor. All VIP area are priced different. I would suggest the mezzanine level if you are having 8+ people party going. Also, if your party aren't the drinking type, then you shouldn't worry how much per bottle it will cost, but consider how much you gonna get charged per head, tax, tip for service and the emergency extra few hundreds. (My group drinks Grey Goose so we pretty much know how many of us needs to go to split the bill in comfort and get enough bottles of Grey Goose at the same time)
PS. I am going to go to Zabiela too, so I might get an update in this thread if you TA crew going to be there, and I would of liked to come say 'HELLO' to you all and wish a Happy Birthday to the birthday boy. :toothless
PSS. Pacha Reservation: 212-209-7500 (can't remember the Dude's name since I wasn't VIP there since the opening but he was very cool and answered all my questions and explained everything.) |

800 for goose? you were almost certainly looking at the prices for the magnum-sized bottles. regular goose is usually 320-390, depending on the club. |

You pretty much said it but still didn't get it. Depending on a club you will pay differently for liquor. At Marquee Grey Goose is $900.

Trust me: VIP is a waste of money sometimes. In your place I would of rent DJ equipment with speakers, buy food, get a BBQ, buy a box of liquor and invite all your friends for a nature weekend. ;) It will run you cheaper then 6 hours of VIP style and you will have a memorable birthday party.
My friends and I do our VIP nature party about half a dozen times while its warm. Lots of fun every time. :D |
