face it since he went coldharbour it's going downhill, same with moor, armada & nothing (93 returning remix) killed them.

Listen to some older productions 2002 and way earlier, seems like 2 different producers. Same with moor his baroque period <=> now

What if you just so happen to like "mcprog"? Then he hasn't necessarily gone downhill. His productions may have, I don't think I've really listened to his earlier productions, but generally I hate his solo projects but tend to like his remixes and co-productions. Along with the fact that he has retained his own certain style of which many others are attempting to emulate. Namely, Armin, who has lost a LOT of energy since starting the Armada record label, signing Markus, and allowing him to influence his sound. Because Armin just doesn't do twinkle prog nearly as well as Markus, it almost seems as though he's trying TOO hard to spin spacey mcprog.

Meh, I like Markus of present-day, even if it is just for his sets, remixes, and co-productions. I thought the Without You Near album was utter gash. The only thing I'd change about him right now besides his poor productions is him spinning old(er) popular house from 2005 like Freeform Five - Electromagnetic (Tiefschwarz remix)

That and its hard to respect someone who opens their set with a track like that.

Its just retarded.

Seriously. That breakdown BREATHES peaktime. The only thing worse would be if he opens with Pryda - Aftermath, which Armin pretty much almost did already :wtf:

Yes...and its something I will never understand. I lose all respect for DJs that do like that.

LOL... dude, schulz is still canning Do what u do (trentemoller mix)... Isnt that old enough for you? :o

Schulz as a Dj is nothing great imo, that he picked up do what u do after 2 years and then canning it in every GDJB show is beyond me.

But as i said before: his mix album from 2004 was very nice.

I'm not too impressed with the fact that he's caning that either, much less do I like his remix all that much. Nor do I like his remix of the über-caned fest that is Your Loving Arms. In general I think he's pretty damn good at djing though, despite the awful this and that here and there which almost every dj has.

The only "trance"ish dj right now that I'm alright with spinning older, played out house is Niklas Harding who also is spinning Du What U Du, as well as the Trentemøller remix of What Else Is There. Yet for some reason when he does it, it sounds okay.
