GDC still has a crazy lineup!!
Even with ty Gabriel + Dresden in and sander out its still got a wicked lineup
You got ferry, lawrence and fleming which are by far the 3 best when it comes to trance music these days.
Sander and sasha would be a killer duo together! |

Maybe eventually we will be on the same side on most issues! Got to keep all these new kids in check on here.

I totally agree with you. It was cool that Sander k was gonna be there, but now that he's not, oh well. We can see him some other time. I am glad, however, that G&D are gonna be there now.

i dont care if Sander has switched his style NOW..... the Sander that im used 2 hearing is proggy and housy....
havent really been in2 much of his lately
(fanciulli,lawler and zabiela have been tickling my fancy...)
from what i heard he threw downnnnnnnnnnnn @ avalon NYE......
either way SASHA is holding it down that night for me |

100% Agree on fleming! imo, he is the best and the more he gets into it, the crazier the night becomes. his energy is above anyone else's, maybe the only person i can think of that fits his energy level is lee burridge. but man, when john steps behind the decks, everything else just falls away and the energy level just goes up by 100! so that is why i'm going to see him in san diego the night before edc. can't get enough of jOOf.

sander k has definitely lost that dark egdy sound he had a few years ago, but the last hour of his set i caught on nye was good . much better than the sk sets i've been dl'ing lately. 03-04 sander k would have done much better though. actually it's funny the sound of sander k and g&d have been steadily converging towards electro house over the last year or so, so i don't see what the big deal is here! :wtf: :p
either way this is all beside the point... the absolute best possible edc trance line up has been in front of you this whole time and nobody caught it: sander van doorn-->christopher lawrence-->j00f BANG! that is absolutely untouchable! UNTOUCHABLE. you wanna talk about real trance gods, there you go. i would KILL to hear the synergy of these 3 guys playing off each other. :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: |

if you absolutely had 2 put a gun 2 my head and tell me 2 pic 3 trance dj's ide havta say FLEMING AND SVD along with PVD......honestly for a trance fanatic EDC lineup looks hardddd....

you know we got zabiela up here that thursday, ali and sharam on friday, and i'm thinking if i'm not completely dead on saturday, i really wanna pin it down 5 and catch zabiela, digweed, c law, dekay, etc at giant village. never been to it before and i guess it's all outdoors on the streets of downtown la? sounds cool and with that line up... well you had me at: zabiela, digweed, :eyespop:
ps: i dunno about pvd over svd, svd's style just resonates so perfectly with christopher lawrence's and j00f's, and i don't know that pvd can still bring more to the table than svd can. svd's record box is full of ID bombs where you can expect pvd's got his pop tracks, which you know he'll play... |

deep dish isnt really on top of my 'gotta see' list......even tho theyre supposedly really good, i dont see what the rants are all about....

FYI all my fellow Darksiders/TA alliance were partying for my 21st birthday that day.....i hit the big two-one on July 26 and what a way 2 in blast off my "from this point on absolutely legal citizenship".......man oh man i cant in wait |

i cant debate over this issue that much, considering i havent seen VanDoorn live.....ive heard alota his and i must say i digzzz...
but as a DJ, the true meaning of the word DJ i think PVD is absolutely complete and refined.....
as far as trance goes, i wouldnt want to get 2 deep in2 it, since its simply not my forte, but after seeing paul van dyke live i have eversince been in a state of >:crazy:<......cant wait til september so i can catch him @ the vanguard....... |
