Please dont tell me I'm alone on this one
Sunlounger - White Sand
blending hard uplifting beats with a mellow spanish guitar sounded like sin itself, not to mention the guitar riffs themselves were awful |

Pryda - Aftermath
What can I say, this track is one long boring loop. I tried being open minded about this tune in the past, but the track stinks. |
I partially agree, it's good in the beginning, but it's just to repetitive to be 10+ minutes long. |

Oh my god, you don't like 'Nothing But You'???
I thought that was one of the last tracks that could serve well under the 'classic' category. After that (2003) trance went down hill for the most part IMO. |
You're kidding, right? |

The track is weak...very very weak with no originality to it...its your standard cookie cutter bs with absolutely nothing going for it. It's poor attempt to rehash typical trance with the same weak, boring elements that'll get the anjuna and asot whores worked up, when in reality, NOTHING about the track stands out. So it's not surprising that one of the worst tracks this year gets a lot of praise from that type of crowd |
As a general rule I get utterly bored of ASOT and Anjuna releases about halfway through, but I love Helsinki Scorchin'. It doesn't sound particularly generic to me- best thing to have come out of Anjuna for years. |

| Weird - in my opinion it's absolute generic bull...as someone who seems to have a good knowledge of EDM System J, I can't see how you don't think this track is generic. |

i wouldnt even call the beats that hard...liked the track the first time i heard it purely cause it was a pleasant sounding mellow tune i could nap to...im gonna hurl when armin drops it next week (and i have no doubt he will) |

What about this one:
C-Quence Pres. Assure - Enemy Territory
Long intro, strong bass, great breakdown, and then it takes off :) :) :)
Great distortioned sound and very uplifting.
You won't believe it, but it was played at A.S.O.T. |

maybe hard was a bad word. more driving. in your face. punchy. just too overwhelming for the little out of tune spanish guitar riffs.
that song pisses me off. if i see armin in july and he drops this tune, which he will, my night will be ruined |

the track that tops it for everyone to me is:
DJ Tomcraft - Loneliness
WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?! i was the only one who hated this on the very first listen, and every DJ whored it. i hate the production, and those vocals, god, those vocals, sounds like someone crammed a 20 inch down the singer's throat right before entering the studio. WHY OH WHY!? |
That's the only track that's been mentioned in these seven pages that I like, so I'll disagree here.
It's a great track. Why? I have no idea...it's one of those simple tracks that's just very well executed. |
