Just to compare it with a lot of places in Europe, Eastern Europe especially, they keep things quite safe here..eventhough they take 3 days to do what takes and hour |
I wouldn't say just the police.
Getting anything done is takes a long time. |

They took a poll in Moscow of the most corrupt professions.
In first place.... you guessed it! COPS! Isn't it amazing?!?! I think the percentage was that 67% of the cops were corrupt. That's the way we do things in Russia.
For those interested, in second place were politicians, and in third businessmen. |
:haha: :haha: :haha: Russia = big and bad:whip:
what ever happens...give a cop some 40 bucks and he never saw you |

| Cops are #1 in my books. I have never had any issues with them, ever. My uncle is a retired officer, and a bunch of my friends are vying to get in with various departments in the province. |

Just like with any work place you have good guys and bad guys. I think some cops are great...I always treat them with the utmost respect. I haven't personally had a run in with a jerk face cop except just this past weekend, and it wasn't even that bad.
My dad and I were waiting in the car outside our hotel at 1 King West in a no parking zone for my brother. There was literally NO place to park and there were about 5 - 8 cars parked in this no parking zone. A cop game by and started ticketing some of the cars but not all of them. My dad was going to pull out and start driving around a bit, but as the officer passed by our window he quickly just said "Excuse me officer, is there any place that we can park for a short while around here? I'm waiting for my son." The guy stood there, continued to write a ticket (not for us) and then just walked away completely ignoring us. There is NO doubt in my mind that he heard my dad, and I thought maybe he would wait until after he wrote the ticket to answer us...but no...he just ignored us. I thought that was a bit rude. |

Cheers to that....In Europe they don't give a about anything...Anywhere you look there wil be corruption on a police force but at least here they get the job done in some cases |
