this comment makes it seriously hard to take you seriously. As much as i ing hate todays hip hop with a passion, that is so wrong. They control fashion,music,movies,everything.80% of white americans want to be black and have bling bling.Come on now, not even tiesto or pvd has the following or gross income of mediocre rappers.

rap is already older than trance and much more popular world wide.

I meant that I enjoy some of it in the sense of music alone. I despise the fact that it's so ing commercial and it's there wherever you go.

you cant tell me The Other Side and Reflections (with the exception of Connected and Crush) are anywhere near his old stuff. same goes for his mix CDs. TPOD 2 is a huge dissapointment when compared to TPOD 1.

Yeah, I have noticed a change in his style, despite the fact that the new technology he's using has revolutionised EDM a bit. I do still listen to his older stuff more (actually I quite like the Deep Dish mix of The Other Side tho) and as I said earlier, he was more original between 1998-2001. So even though, I'm an ass-kissing fan of him, I agree that he's changed a little. But it could also be his perception on the trance scene. He's says that most of it is bull and there are only a handfull of quality artists both new and old. Maybe that makes it difficult for him to choose good tunes for his sets, but it's up to him how he wants to do it really.

If he does anything that's really dodgy, cheesy or commerical and it doesn't have a positive or influential impact, then I'll question him.
Nightscape
Paul van Dyk is a far more better producer then tiesto will ever be.
