And we are back! Once more, with the official formula 1 thread

previews, reviews, your favorite driver, favorite time, who is gonna win, who is gonna lose==>> POST IT HERE!!

In the first thread I already mentioned that michael schumacher IMO is going to equal the record of Fangio, but that thread went down the drain.

competetion will be stronger this year, but the problem is these teams probably only drive into the wheels of each other instead of ferraris'.

like 36 hours to the first race... and M. Schumacher is laying first in trainings, with his 2001 car!

teams got a lot of work to do

and we WILL see some new guys win races as well (renault, sauber, jordan)... but they REMAIN the best of the rest...

enjoy the season!

He is so unbelievable! Driving with his old car and still being the fastest driver! How do they want to beat him when he gets the new car?

Go Schmui!:D

I reckon it's going to be pretty much a one horse race this year unfortunatly. IMO the only person with any chance of out-driving Schumacher this season is JP Montoya.

It's probably worth remembering that Ferrari don't have the best reliability record...they've done great up to now in last years car but to be honest, that has put them at an advantage. They know the car inside out and I'm pretty sure that if it were the McLaren's or the Williams' they would have the same advantage. At some point though Ferrari are going to have to start using their new technology and that could work in the other teams favour, especially if they've had a head start at using their new technology in race/qualifying condidtions. If Schumacher has a bad start to the year it could leave the door open for Coulthard, Kimi or Ralf to get an early lead in the championship. But I'm not counting on it :)

This year I'd like to see Montoya take the title. He's an awesome driver, he races properly and gives the fans a great show, is not afraid to take risks unlike a certain arrogent German (who's also proved himself to be a very bad sportsman in the past). Would be nice if Button knuckled down this year. I think he has a lot of talent but I don't think he had the right attitude last year, and wasn't helped by a poor car. This year he seems to have given himself a slap in the face and with the right technology I reckon he could turn some heads.

Anyways, if anybody fancies discussing the race live, I'll be in the TA chatroom while I watch it.

Did anybody catch that race?

Absolutely insane. Crayzee that was!!!

MS wins again, no surprise, but there wasn't really any competition left to challenge him.

Question:

Why the hell do they have the Malaysian GP during the freakin' monsoon season?

Gee, I wonder why it always rains?!?!?!?
