i'm sorry but i don't call it a "fantastic game" when it's a game like this. a fantastic game is a game like germany vs poland where, even with 1 man down & out, the poles played with their entire hearts and souls down til the last minute... this game was absolutely atrocious- they should have just handed the win to the argentines on a poopoo platter before the game even started if they knew it was gonna end up like this. a fine display of argentina's wonderful tactical skills and individual player strengths and a horrible display by SMT, with or without Kezman (who indeed is an idiot btw).. as i said before, they just compleeetely lost any energy or motivation even before the 2nd half and even when they were actually IN the game they were stumbling left and right.
how could it be that a team managed to only lose 1 goal in the qualifying rounds lost 6 this game... SIXXXXXX goals scored against them?!?! christ on a cracker. i can't imagine any game in the tourney being more devastating than this one.
i really just wanna cry for SMT. and it's a sad ending for the joint team that's now going their own ways. |
