Anyway, YEAH! We're now confirmed to get our asses kicked either by Holland or Argentina. Good goal by Deco, and very confident penalty by Cristiano Ronaldo who ended all the tension. However, I've got to admit, I got seriously big doubts over the penalty we got awarded, looked like a dive by Figo.
I think we did a very positive game overall, certainly deserved to win. I'm satisfied but things will be quite harder in the 1/8 finals. |

| iran looked dangerous for about 30 seconds of this game. in general it looked like their players kept tripping over the field and couldnt dribble worth crap. the best bet for portugal might be to limit the touches that ronaldo gets since any decent team will just swarm him since he never passes. let figo and pauleta hook up like they did for the first goal against angola. |

| I wouldn't be so pessimistic about Portugal's chances if I were you, paranoiko. You will probably face Holland in the next round, who aren't exactly a powerhouse either at the moment. |

if we face holland it's about 50/50. i rate both teams equally. we also have a recent story of always beating holland but history means jack.
if we face argentina it's more like 70/30. argentina are major ass kickers. |
