2006.07.10. Chemmy's Cottage Getaway

So....the weather is finally starting to warm up and I thought now would be the perfect time to see who would be interested in a Cottage Getaway.
From July 10-16 I will be at my cottage in Parry Sound and I am looking for some TAs who would like to join me up there. The cottage sleeps about 10 so I figure we could get 30 people in there to party it up for a week. If people want to bring tents there is more then enough room on the property for that.
If there are any of the great TA DJs willing to share their skills that would make it even greater.....I am working on a special guest for Saturday.
If you want to come let me know.....and how long you plan on staying....I hope to see many of you there....I will be sure to take you all tubing.....you just gotta see me behind the wheel of a boat :D:nervous: :D

if there is enough interest I may be tempted to have another one in August.
For those that want to go just let me know and I will add you to the list....I will provide directions once it gets closer....if there are any DJs that wish to show us their skills just PM me.
I don't anticipate many will want to come up during the week and that is fine.....but I hope we can have a rocking weekend. Just let me know when you are thinking of coming up so I have an idea. |

I'm thinking of coming!
Its the weekend before WEMF, sO I can either take it easy and rest up (which is a good idea), or go and have some fun! I love cottages and cottage country, esp in teh summer! :D
Ill hafta play this by ear closer to the date, really feel how well I'm holding up!
I feel so partied out right now! And its only gonna get worse w/ G2, Armin, and ATB ... :nervous:
I wanna come though, so I'll hafta see Scott!

Anyone who is still interested in coming up to the cottage here are directions.....anyone is welcome...just a fun relaxing weekend with fishing, boating, drinking and whatever else we feel like doing.
1.Take the HWY-400 exit- EXIT 359- toward BARRIE. 0.5 miles
2.Merge onto PROVINCIAL ROUTE 400 N. 51.4 miles
3.Take the HWY-400 N exit toward HWY-69 / PARRY SOUND / SUDBURY. 0.6 miles
4.Merge onto PROVINCIAL ROUTE 400 N. 75.8 miles
5.Take the BOWES STREET exit- EXIT 224- toward PARRY SOUND. 0.3 miles
6.Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto BOWES ST. 0.3 miles
7.Turn LEFT onto OASTLER PARK DR. 0.2 miles
8.Turn RIGHT onto PARRY SOUND RD. 0.9 miles
9.Turn RIGHT to stay on PARRY SOUND RD. 0.3 miles
10.Turn LEFT onto EMILY ST. 0.4 miles
11.EMILY ST becomes ROSE POINT RD. 0.1 miles
That is as far as any map will take you....the rest is on Haunted Indian Land that not even the government can get satellite images of...you think I am joking but try....you can't.
12. Follow Rose Point Rd. till you get to a bridge crossing over to the island.
13. Follow that road until you get to the Indian Cemetary.....you will turn left at the cemetary.
14. Follow that road until you get to a "Y" in the road and you will want to stay to the left. There will be a small lake on the left side and a run off creek on the right side.
15. Stay on that road until you come to another "Y" in the road and stay to the left again.
I will update this with the cottage phone number and my cell number....the cell may not work on the island....its that Haunted Indian Land thing again....just pm me |
