I don't really know how to put last night into words... but it's definitely going down as one of the best clubbing experiences I've had.
Got in around 11:15 while Pete was spinning. Haha, I've decided that two of his favorite tracks are Supermode - Tell Me Why and Supermodels From Paris - Keep On (jc1 Remix).
Ok so Ferry spun a set that totally took me by suprise!! He started off a lot softer than I expected. The first hour (maybe a little more) he spun more melodic tracks (like Above&Beyond - Can't Sleep)... just warmin us up. Then he dropped Cubikated. The energy that this track created was insane. The rest of the night was the hard hitting sounds that that reflect his new artist album. Some of the tracks he played from that point on include:
Coburn - We Interrupt This Program (Joris Van Der Straten Remix) :disbelief :disbelief
SO Project - Direct Dizko (SVD Remix)
Re:Locate - Rogue (trying to contain my self as best I could:tongue2)
Corsten - Watch Out!
- L.E.F.
- Fire
- I Love You
Yet what made last night truly amazing was the 3 new tracks from DJ Breakfast... Ummm... dude you ing rule. The last track that ferry spun of yours was possibly one of the best tracks I have heard. Ever. It was like nothing I've heard before. (for any of you who don't know... this is the guy who was rocking out on stage right next to Ferry all night long)
The night ended what?... around 5:30. I didn't check the time. There were two encores, I can't believe we got him to do a second. But chanting his name always works:D He did a little dance to his name as we all yelled FER---RY... FER--- RY. |

| Anyone know the name of the track moutso finished his set with? It's very funky, housy with a deep voiced guy and unintelligible lyrics. I've had the beat stuck in my head ever since I woke up. He played it after Supermode - tell me why |

Awesome Awesome night.
Pete Moutso set was pumping the crowd up. I've notice that he spun this track called "You'll Be a Woman Soon" I've heard it before but couldn't identify the artist or remixer. Right before, Ferry came on, I met up with BigMike, and Blueshift and one other NYTA that I trying to remember her name, but she said her sig was Ferry's logo. Yeah, I was kind of excited to see them, because Sam and I were talking a lot when I am on ETN.FM, and mike, well lets leave that out for a few. Hheheheheh. I told mike, he was the Carl Cox of Trance music since both has gap teeth.
Ferry came on @ 1:10am. He started off with lots of melodic Trance tunes, that I am trying identify. There was a lot female vocals. By track 5-6 he dropped Galaxia. I danced like I never dance before.
By midway through , guess who showed up. Natalie aka Tatgirl from Toronto, wow. So by now, I met up with BIGMiKE, Blueshift and friends. Bedrockscience, Tatgirl and friends, DasMario, well the obvious Dwayne.
Ferry went from his melodic side to the more L.E.F sounds with Direct Dizko (Sander van Doorn remix) which I thought it was very unexpected. I know John Askew spun that track for ASOT 250 show. Then he came to Loud Electroic Ferioious, and bam You Better Watch Out. By now there still lots of people dancing to Ferry's tune.
Ferry stopped @ 4:10 with Force of Gravity. He looked at the crowd, and crowd responded with chanting Ferry Ferry Ferry. I know Ferry usually laugh and do his famous heart sign, but this time he was sort of dancing with the chanting, or I like to call the "pointing to the lord" dance. He knows the crowd wants to hear one more track, so he points his finger, and crowd died. Encore #1 Fire. If that wasn't enough. The crowd thought that Ferry's set was ending, he plays encore #2 which was "It's Time" Crowd was very very happy.
After the track ended, Ferry came down to greet his fans, a man came from England who was first time seen Ferry, he asked, "Hey, where are you from" Ferry, "I am from Holland, oh we beat you in the world cup." I loled. I had a few words with Ferry, you all know there just soo many words to say to the guy, but not enough time, because everybody was trying to get a few pieces of Ferry.
My conclusion, good night, great music, great crowd, Shouts to all, BigMike, Blueshift and friend who has a sig with Ferry logo on it, Dasmario, Tatgirl and the TOTAs, some of the glowboard people, including Kimbery and boyfriend, bedrockscience and friend. I know yujie was there, but I know he does not remember me. I am surprised that Amit wasn't there.
