Ok, so my friend brings me his laptop after he let one of his co-workers use it to check their mail, chat stuff, etc. He tells me, it freezes up when I login. I'm assured it worked FINE until his coworker used it. I reboot into safe mode with Networking, run MSCONFIG, FULL of spyware programs. I download Ad-Aware and SpyBot, remove about 500 spyware objects. I go to install AVG Anti-Virus, and it won't install in safe mode. I reboot back into a normal environment and install AVG, the minute I run the program, a virus attacks it, closes AVG, and logs me off Windows. I reboot back into safe mode and run AVG, finds about 50 trojan horses. Still can't boot back into Windows XP.
So what exactly do people do on computers to them up this bad? Go to www.viruses.com and download everything? |
