Annoying Flash popups!

Why are there Flash overlay popups in the UK section advertising nights in Toronto?
They're annoying, they're not clever, people don't click them and they raise my blood pressure.
Please keep them to the relevant sections ie. the Canada forum! |

| I get a flash pop-up here and there, too. I'm fine with the ads on TA while I'm logged-in, but the flash pop-ups for those of us registered users are too much, imo. |

the flash pop-ups are annoying. a couple of my test computers i dont' have flash installed and i have this huge square in the middle of my browser i can't get rid of b/c i don't have flash installed. it really makes ta browsing unbearable. |

| Dudes there's nothing wrong with a pop up once in a while. Give the man a break you sultans. It only starts getting annoying when it would become like those every second porn popups. |

If it weren't for ads, there would be no TA, same goes for other sites you go on - think about that the next time you install an adblocker.
As for the flash banner - I really have no idea how you'd see that banner unless you're coming in from a US or Canada IP - unless you were using a proxy, since that banner is geo-targetted. |
