I guess you could look at it that way, but it would be really short-sighted. You are spending time at all times, whether you choose to or not. I would rather spend that time loving and feeling good more than anything else - sure it sometimes ends up in heartbreak and some strange, misunderstood sense of loss (though how can you "lose" something you never owned in the fist place?), but it is one of the finest feelings that life has to offer - don't devalue the experience by saying you regret it. Life is too short to regret the outcomes of even a few fading moments' divinity. |
