Italy was a ing DISGRACE in this game. i can't even count how many missed opportunities they had because of nothing but hesitation. at one point the goal was WIDE open and one of ours just stood there and decided to pass to a player that was suffocated with defenders on him like flies on . pathetic. and you think they would have figured out how to play with one man up..but no, they really didn't. there were only a couple of plays with decent passing but overall, we really sucked. thank god gigi buffon is a great goalkeeper, always ready.
Inzaghi - i was hopefully when he went in but even tho he had the 2nd goal, he didn't do much otherwise. and the way he managed that goal pissed me off, it seemed like such a glory moment.
Matterazzi - goal was nice but after that, he played like a drunkard.. in fact, the announcer on the spanish said "Matterazzi fuma la pippa!" LMAO. he was spot on. quality commentary right there.
Camaronesi - every damn time he got the ball, he gave it up within 2 seconds... glad he got subbed in the 2nd.
Totti - tiest shots i've ever seen him take.
Gattuso - only player that was really worth something for the italian team imo. that guy is a ing machine and is really the heart of the team, all over the field, capable of any position.
Nedved is a ing MACHINE. that guy is sick, fast as and takes the shot as soon as he sees it. that what the italians need to do if they're going to advance from the round of 16.
this game made me sick.

the opponent for Italy most likely will be Croatia or Australia...not too bad

I feel bad for Pavel, he'll probably never win anything with Czech Republic.
Ah well, He finished second with Porborsky and the boys back in Euro 96 :(
But wtf, Italy will play a lot better in the upcoming game, I hope so anyways. |

i really wonder what would have happened if the czechs weren't one man down.
i really feel that the czechs were playing better than that italians, although, of course, i'm happy that italy went through.
sad ending for the team that was ranked 2 in the world. |
