Nah, they're doing fine without him. Jens What's-his-name from Arsenal is a hell of a goalie; the Germans are smart to keep going with him as long as his streak is holding.
All squealing for South American teams aside, England vs. Germany is still very much a possibility, and there are others (i.e. - Australia) that still have a chance to sneak in and take down some of the heavy hitters just by being underestimated. As hilarious as it would be for Japan to beat Brazil, I don't see it happening. Their 0-0 tie with Croatia was, in a word, unforeseen, but I doubt seriously that they can stop Brazil's offense. Holland, on the other hand, has a very real chance of knocking off Argentina, and has built a pretty solid team. Argentina had better pay attention if they want to get past them. |

Always a fan of Brazil. It would be great if the finale came down to Argentina vs Brazil.
But as we all know south american teams rarely win when the cup is hosted in Europe. Plus the host country always 'seems' to do really well. So I predict Germany to go far...stupid job has kept me from watching almost every single game.

if brazil keep playing the way they are they wont make the finals
if any1 saw the australia vs brazil match they would understand
we would have demolished them if anyone in our team knew how to put a ball in the back of the net, so many missed oppurtunities.
would love to see a rematch |
