What's up everyone? Just finished working on this. Not totally finished yet...needs effects, some mixing fixes, mastering, and maybe an arrangement fix or something. This is a summery type of track with a great atmosphere and relaxed, euphoric feeling to it. Give me your ideas and opinions I'd love to hear them.

very housy beginning. very housy track. kick isnt punchy enough for me. like that ahh you have. i would put a stereo ping pong delay on that. bass comes in and its now trance. i would try and change the start so that its more trancy or change the bass so its housy.
synth could do with less cut off so its more present. melody is good when its beginning but if you changed the last chords around it would sound much better. the start i really like, could be a killer melody if you change them last chords.
still sounding quite empty but you still have to add alot to it. if you want send me the melody ill try and change it so it sounds more emotional. |

The atmosphere is nice and so the melody. I like that background sound you have but after a while its been a bit annoying imo, just do some breaks from it. This will be a great track, just a bit more work! :toocool:
Good luck!

| Thanks for the comments guys. I had already fixed that background sound that comes in at the 9th measure, I just never uploaded it. I added a lot more things and am really just working on adding more to the atmosphere. I'll update it for you guys when it's all finished. This will definitely be finished very soon and I promise you'll all like this track :) If you guys have any ideas, post them up and I'll check them out. Barry about the beginning...I didn't think it was housey lol. I'm going to add another synth line because I think there is plenty of room in the sound spectrum for it. |

The backgroundsound is even better now! But I still think it needs any break or change of it `couse it feels very repetitive after a while. :)

digging the beginning. Some energy in this one.
Nice chord progression. It really is something ;P The background is very intriguing.
I dig this tune. Nice job ;P It has a nice feel over it, and it really is a good name you've given it too ;D
P.S. Would you review my newest tune for me, please:

| still has that housey feel at the beginning lol. think its the bongos and the airy pads. id reduce the cutoff on the bass. still not feeling that second part to the melody makes the track go dark. maybe move back down instead of up on that last bar. bass is much better but still a bit crunchy. |

like the beginning.
nice bongos and aah-choir.
backroundsound is great. the kick could be more punchy. maybe you can add some high frequencies to it and use a compressor for more volume.
in the breakdown you should give the synthie some more reverb/hall so you'll create more atmosphere.
but i didn't really like your melody you used. it's nothing special.
go on with this tune :) |

barry, I never changed the bass lol. Personally I think the darkness at the end adds some uniqueness to it. It doesn't really follow your typical chord progression, so you can't really call it "cliche." Housey isn't a bad idea, but I like it. I recently decided that I'm going to collab on this work with a buddy of mine Mike Esco. He's got a track Sunshift signed to Armada and it is simply put...amazing. We're going to make some adjustments to this and we'll see where it goes.
Lancton: About the high frequencies, I hadn't done any eqing so whatever is there is there. When I do the eqing phase along with some effects processing it'll sound much better and will flow better with the atmosphere. That synth I put more reverb on, but I'm just not keeping you guys updated for now. About the melody, same thing I said to barry. I think it's fine and has it's own taste to it. |

Very nice atmoshperic pads.
Don't like that synth playing off-beat in the intro so much. Seems to contrast too much with the atmosphere the pads are setting.
Breakdown is nice - puts the pads back into focus.
I like the melody, but I think a fatter, drier, and more supersaw-like instrument would fit it better. |

| We're going for a more summer type trance track, so I don't think supersaw will fit it well. I'm going to experiment a little more with the sounds at the moment, but I'll get back to yous. What do you think about the 16 bar intro with just the pads? Everyone like? |
