| Thanks for the congrats guys! As I said before, I'm not trying to be an ass and flaunt my Techs or whatever, but I did think it was a crazy DJ related story, and if anyone else had a strange way or just a suprising way of getting their decks\mixer or whatever, I'd love to hear about it. I'm using a Numark DXM09 for a mixer and could'nt be happier!!! If you think the DXM06 was a deal, the extra effects and nice kill switches as opposed to buttons plus the extra channel make it one of my most valued purchases. Thanks guys. |

Nice feeling getting techs. I waited 11 years to own a pair!!......And now things are going CDJ :sadgreen: Id never sell em though :)
Bit of a story I guess how I got mine....I burned my hand and arm in work from steam so I put in a compensation claim and got £1300. I bought my mk2's (first decks. Mixed with traktor a few years prior), my mixer (Stanton SMX501) and a laptop :D
Luckily it healed fine and didnt scar :) |

I havent tried anything else but as a first mixer it will last! By that I mean physically last as my mate has thrashed his for over a year and its still working like new (He plays hard trance/tech at a local club so its abused daily). I paid £230 for mine and for for what you get its a bargin.
Then you have the 3 channels, efx loop, P&G crossfader with adjustable curve and those toggle switches (great for scratching) which will keep you happy for years.

Thats for the older one but there are no changes to the newer one I dont think other than the colours.

Had alot of re-arranging since and new gear :)

:) I left there nearly 2 years ago. Was quite dangerous that place... Alot of young people worked there (some looked like schoolkids!!) aswell as foreign people which was difficult to communicate with since they barely spoke english. Oh and alot of people walking around stupidly with knives. Unf****in beliveble! Your probably wondering wtf did I work as. Well it was a food factory :eyes:  |
