Yea, it took me forever to actually be able to spend time with my computer hehe.

Anyways, i've been listening to this set all week while going to work, so i for sure know it inside out by now.
I must say Moe, this set sounds a tad more fancy then your previous set, even tho both had some amazing elements.

The mixing is superb i must say, and i must learn some of ur tricks when we start practicing together.

You did great with the beginning, setting me into a great grooving vibe, wanting more. In a way very electric and driving.
I believe track 3 and 4, Analogue 1 and Nashville definitly made me go wow. My two favorite tracks of the set hands down. Even tho they are sorta dry and simple both these tracks have unique elements that would definitly get the crowd cofused :p, i love it.

The only thing i didn't fully like was the ending. After "The Tip", i think the tracks lacked juice. It seemed like the music didn't have the same drive as the previous ones, or perhaps it was time to step it up a bit.

Congrats bro, and keep working hard!!

this piece of work is excellent man. u know ill be allways telling you this, but you also know everytime i say it i mean it. my first impression was surprise. i listened to it again and again and realized why. your style has been evolving constantly since you started making demos, and all the sets till now had some few elements that you could tell their influence. i was surprised to see that there were no such elements anymore. i see it as you being the only influence behind each one of those sounds. you are really getting closer and closer to fully expressing your essence in your music and thats freakin great (saying you got it would be excluding the possibility of improvement, one of ur most admirable characteristics as an artist).

this means that in terms of music i felt constantly in ur world, and hey i must say ur world is sick. i would qualify the atmosphere as spooky. there's no track having only one tone. its always a lot of sounds in different tones (and very different in some tracks) combined in such a way that you could not try to predict them. my brain goes like "i don't what's coming next, but just bring it! :whip: "

yo pls i've told you this before, you should make them longer. i dont know why you stick to 10 tracks, being 11 such a nice number...:toothless
making it longer might make the journey more structured, meaning that each mood/groove would be more stressed out (plus marqué).
i consider ur sound to be very mental so i think id be cool to take our minds into that kind of trip.

Congratulations man, its always a pleasure to lsn to ur stuff. Best part ever 25:52 after staying chilled for a while, a loop and then :tongue3 some acid-happy-hyperness all over the system (my fav track)!:eyespop:
Keep it going moeva! Cheers!

Alright...

I listened to it again and let me put my two cents in...

First of all, the mixing is spot on. 100% SPOT ON. As in perfect. My only gripe comes with your tracklisting. I think you've chosen a great selection of quality tracks but to be perfectly honest... I think you have to find more dance floor oriented songs. This mix features PERFECT mixing, PERFECT flow, but songs that don't really get me moving. You bring us onto this psychedelic ride filled with loops and trippy vocals but I don't feel that there's a pay off. I don't feel there's actually a moment where it lets loose and the dance floor goes crazy.

Moe, you know how supportive I am of your career and I stand by the fact that I don't think anyone EXCEPT yourself should be opening for Zab when he plays at Myst. You have a great path ahead of you and it's only a matter of time buddy. I look forward to your next mix and I hope you didn't take any of this personally. It's very difficult sometimes for people to accept constructive criticism (I ing hate it) but it'd rather take the time to write up my sentiments and be honest with you than just post:

"Good mix man. Kudos."

Cheers and keep it up! :)

max u def have a point there. i see what you mean by "psychedelic ride filled with loops and trippy vocals but I don't feel that there's a pay off" the only difference is that i feel i won the lottery. :haha:  :haha:
but yeah, thats in my egocentric twisted mind, some others could have ur same impression and i can see how ...
nicely said tho!
