not really.
i've supported the guvment in a couple of things, but not everything. I disagree with a lot of things the government does, this being one. I'll support (and vote for) whoever I think will be the best government, which at the moment is Liberal cos Labor has been a joke at the last few elections.

John Howard is a man that has stood up for the spread of freedom and democracy all around the world and I personally think it's great that the people of Iraq now have a more democratic, accountable form of government than we do. Can't you just be happy for them? |

Everytime I browse Aust tranceaddict I seem to come out of it singing 'I can't live, if living is without you' and I didn't know wtf for. And then I read Paulie's sig...
Anyways, this is what I really think about this thread topic. this government and all their axe wielding power. the people who elected them and then whinge about their rights being taken away. whoever made the legislation that ensured should a party control the senate, they could do whatever they want. the Labour and their piss weak turn around over the past few years to stand for absolutely nothng. they Liberals for standing for 'each man for himself' and imposing their own archaic and homophobic beliefs on Australian society in an attempt to send the country backwards.
But yay cos I have money, the economy looks stable. I might go purchase a plasma and a hot new car (can't decide between the 350Z, a boxter, or a serious classic car, tricky) and more new shoes and live beyond my means cos interest rates are pretty sweet at the moment; I can satisfy my consumerist needs any lunchtime I want and shopping makes me happy! Then I might marry my boyfriend, purchase a house to get the grant, and have a baby to get the bonus!!!!!!1111111 |
