Well, I think the way it works is they give you a free ticket in exchange for you supplying them with details, which are then presumably used for advertising and demographic purposes. It's also probably got a lot to do with "youth-orientated product positioning" as they say on the Simpsons.
And it's not as though there are any big names coming out, and I certainly don't think it's going to be a big event (the Melbourne one's going to be held at Melbourne Uni for instance) so I don't think it's that big a deal.
But for free? Yeah, I might check it out. :) |
