This is something I worked on today, and I'm really excited about it.

Direct-link:
Daniel DeLarc - Guitara (Fileden direct-link)

I can totally imagine this track opening a club night ;P

I'm constantly updating this, so give it a download again if you have heard it before and have some spare time ;P I post my updates in the thread.

And the few questions I always ask:

1. Is this releasable?
2. Would you, as a DJ, play this out?
3. What do you think about it? What can I improve?
4. Does the link work? ;P
dj_kane
that link makes my comp freeze. could you upload it to yousendit please.
PutBoy

kick needs a bit more power to give it a thump. nice synths and melodies although the bass takes too long to come in and is practically none existent. i also think you have it on the wrong key it doesnt seem to fit with the melody. its something that doesnt fit sounds like a guitar. very minimal at the minute needs some efx and sweeps to push it along. getting quite repetitive. i think you need to look at your arrangement and bring thinks in and out instead of jumping straight in and having the same thing playing throughout.

overall it has a nice sound just needs some arranging and and boosting cetain areas.
PutBoy
Very helpfull feedback kane, thank you.
lancton
the kick should be more punchy. more eq'ing and a good compressor over it :)
you should use some more percussions and fx.
and the bass has the wrong key, as kane already said.agree with that.
try, change this.it will sound much better then ;)
the bass-frequencies are not so good. try give the bass more deeper frequencies with an EQ as well.
the synth which plays the whole time should vary a bit more.
keep on working.

btw: which software do you use? FL?
PutBoy
Lancton, I use FL. I'll get to work as soon as I can after the midsummer eve celebrations (Yes, we celebrate midsummer eve in sweden, yey ;P). Great feedback both of you. Just what I needed, thx again ;P

I updated the track:
* Corrected the key (should be right now)
* More bass on the Sub Bass and Kick
* More bass on the master channel
* New build up
* Added a beat

Hey man..

To answer one of your questions "Would you as a DJ , play this out:

I totally would. I use ABleton on stage and while i was listening, i was brainstomring some good ideas/mixing with other tracks..

Let us know when it is said and done!!

Great work

Thank you for your reply WirelessEyes ;P Could you perhaps play it out when I'm done with the track, and tell me about what people thought about it, if you can fit it in your set? That'd be great.

I'll let you know when I'm content about the tune, which will probably be soon. ;P

Again, thanks for all of your responces.

I really enjoyed it. I cannot find anything wrong with it. A little repetitive, but that is fine by me.

Keep up the good work!
