Edit: and I gotta admit that even though I think Linkin Park's music sucks; that particular song ("In The End") fits the video perfectly. |

Considering the conditions they drive under, they crash very very rarely. I think last year I was watching it, and Sebastian Loeb skidded into a tree, and the commentator said this was Loeb's first unforced mistake in 8 years of rallying. That's insane.
They should show more WRC rallies on SpeedTV. That takes some big cojones. Driving 30 mins at breakneck speeds down a dirtroad that wouldn't fit a Hummer with a gorge down on one side and a cliff on the other without losing concentration for even a second is amazing imo.
That vid was nice, but I would say the in-car camera shots are far more exciting that the crashes. Seeing them go through blind corners at 100 km/h is far more interesting than seeing someone run off the road or make a really big jump.

| Word... WRC is an example of fierce driving at its finest. These guys are absolute machines, and have precision that puts most people to shame. It's just too bad it isn't featured more on cable outlets in NA. |

listen to the words and watch the video at the same time.
They mention a timer, show a clip of a timer. They mention not being able to recognize somebody, they show a burning car. They did it very well.
That video is pretty cool, but just 'regular' WRC stuff really. I just wish it was on more often. That, and I wish i could get uncut segments. I want to see how they handle every turn. |
