Well if the track is good is doesn't really bother if you make a great email with all the information in it. Only the music bothers.
Got 4 tracks signed at the moment to Airmass Music, Space Recordings (2x) and Abrasive Beatz.
One of the labels contacted me, other I won a competition they were organizing.. and the other was contacted by me and they liked the tracks so.. that's how it went in my case. |

| Congratulations guys! As for me, I think I'm getting to the level where my tracks would be good enough if the right person heard it, but that is the difficult part. You really have to keep on trying and I've always just sent it to a few addresses then given up. I plan on putting serious energy into trying for my latest track. |

also there will be a digital release on club elite/armada pretty soon. i dont know the exact date but i think the tracks are out on promo just now beacuse ive seen it in above and beyond playlist, and that realy cool. its not a vinyl release tho so it doesnt mean much to me. |
I think you should be proud to have an digital release to, its a good way to be heard, better then nothing..right!? And if the digital release goes well, meny labels often then offer vinyl or cd releases(Check your contract for that), so hang in there.
Cheers

Maaan some people like you can be verry irritating  , if you READ my post again, you will see that i wrote, I Quote:
| quote: | | But i think this is a little out of the topic, cus i think the reason for this topic was to share your experience, not tell people how thay should do. So if you got signed that way, thats fine, i just shared my point of view. So if people want to take your experience or mine, doesnt really matter, does it? |
Is there sometingin this that you didnt understand, you can tell me and i will try to explain in easyer english! |

there should be a:
"How to get your tracks signed digitally ?"
and
"How to get your tracks signed as a Vinyl or CD release ?" |

I've had one digital release on Enoise Record's Digital Mission Vol. 4 EP, under the artist name Zodiacal Light. It's a track called Atlantis Rising, you can find it on Beatport, Audiojelly, and several other sites I forget the name of.
All of this started when I let a DJ hear the track that I mentioned above, he happened to be an A&R for Enoise which I wasn't even aware of at the time. Anyway, we got to know each other, and next thing I know he's telling me Enoise likes the track and wants to release it. I'm currently working on a 4 or 5 song EP that will be released through Enoise.
I'm happy so far with the experience. My track is selling a few. It's just nice to be able to get my music into the mainstream market. |

| I just signed my first digital release. Not to a big label or anything, but a local company here in Toronto that will distribute it via djdownloads.com, itunes, etc... Not a big release, but still, something to get my tracks out there to be heard. It's given me more confidence to pursue music production and to give me a bit of coin on the side :) |

Congrats on all of these, I don't think you're just lucky, it's hard work and quality that comes as a result |

I guess as your talking about releasing to Digital and Viynl lables theres a difference ?
I take it a digital release is easier to get released because its cheaper if it dosnt sell aswell because of production of the viynl costs? |

Where do you find these labels to send your stuff to in the first place?
I only know of about 5 dedicated trance labels off the top of my head.... I've never even heard of moonshine that's been mentioned. |

Well, one thing i did, was to go to Audiojelly.com, and then just clicked to search labels, take one by one, and listen to thair latest releases. Write down the labels on a paper ob thoose ypu think might suit your style of music. From there its just to look em up and send your demo and wait! |
