so uhh...i had my first day training at a hair salon for a summer job. i HATE this job...2 out of my 4 coworkers are complete bitches and the other 2 are fairly decent. they're older women with very strong spanish speaking accents and i have to ask them at least twice what they are saying. when i walked in and introduced myself, i recieved no formal introduction and people were straight up rude. i thought my job was supposed to be answering phones and selling customers hair products but it's a whole lot more than that...and if i had known earlier i would have declined the offer (my hairdresser told me about this job).

how am i supposed to stop working there (i almost quit today...i might tomorrow...)? what would be the best thing to say so i can stop. i'm about to rummage through the paper for jobs cuz i don't want to work there for the rest of the summer.

it's soooo emo (sorry) but i'm pissed off and annoyed because it's going to be hard to find another job.

Do the women with the "very strong spanish speaking accents " smell like Aqua Net.? :wtf:

actually nevermind...sorry

i think the best solution is for me to look in the paper and then find some drastic excuse why i can't work there anymore.

Well at least you don't have to deal with in' favoritism. That's the reason I quit my job today.

sorry to hear that ....

yeah those cowaorkers don't favor me... in fact, it's like they don't want me there at all. i know 1 doesn't know my name, but i guarantee 3 of them don't remember my name because they always tried to get my attention by putting their arms up or gesturing their fingers. AND no lunch breaks....i have to either order my food or go get it nearby and come right back.

my lame schedule...

tuesdays to fridays (9am to 6pm)
saturday (8am to 5pm)

Happens to the best of us. If you leave the job it may be for the best, depends on how you're looking at it. I'm glad as I left, that's for goddamn sure.
