| ROFLMAO 20 ing minutes just to cancel an account. that guy deserved to get fired. aohell! |

| i had to go through the same thing. my buddy paid me $20 to sign up for aol for one of those free ipod deals and after i told the aol guy on the phone 'i don't even use aol, i joined as a favor for a friend' he tried giving me free extensions and signing me up for other promos and offers, like 5 of them, one after the other. i was tempted to hang up just to shut him the up, but i wanted to make sure my account there was closed out fully. and my call was more like 45 min. |

haha they will do anything to keep ya. my old mail man actually took advantage of them and got 3yrs worth of internet free! then they stopped giving it to him and he went on to msn. he didnt fare to well with them. they did it for about 6 months. lol |

lol yeah a friend of mine would always call to say he was going to cancel and they would give him a few months for free.. he kept doing this for over a year and paid nothing eventually lol. |
