Solution to working and wanting to watch World Cup games

Assuming you have a computer at your work and no one really monitors it...I have a solution which is far better than the BS World Cup ticker that is updated every minute with a quick line about the action.
This really is a awesome feature that I came across.
go to www.viidoo.com
and download a file (in 2 seconds)...install it and within 2 minutes you have a choice between 5 or 6 differant sports stations, CNN ESPN, and a bunch more. all you do is double click on a station, then let it buffer and voila!
The quality is very impressive.
And from that point forth you can watch TV on your comp with no tuner.
Enjoy! |

Of course if your company has any sort of decent firewalling you can forget about this...
Ours is set up so that at peak bandwidth usage, certain protocols start getting chopped on a corporate priority basis.
It's smart but a pain in the ass for anyone wanting to do video streaming...
Happily it's on every tv everywhere in the building :D
(What do you expect? I work at a broadcast company)
:p :gsmile: |
