I just found out the other day that there's a bug in SX 3.1 (and not in any previous versions) that sort of disables making stereo ReWire tracks for Reason. You can making them, but no audio will pass through them. Irritating... |

Ive been meaning to get round to rewiring reason in to cubase with some trouble, so youve been re wiring in to ableton with reason instead , managed to get the VSTi's going ? |

i use reason with cubase..all u gotta do is open cubase, open reason, load reason device and ur golden. from there its nicely labeled whether it be mastering, instrument or anything though the devices tab. I was scared by the word rewired but it does everything for ya... |

anyone know if its possible from rewire mode to separate your rewired tracks. for example i use reason for kicks and percs although in the cubase mixer their are in the same track so i cant add any effects without messing up the sound of the percs or kick. anyone know if its possible to separate the kicks and percs in cubase? |

Its very simple in cubase under devices select reason and then select channel 3,4,5,etc as many as you need. Channels 1 and 2 are reserved for Left,Right Stereo Out from reason. Then open reason instead of hooking your devices into a remix 14:2 mixer plug them directly into the hardware interface on channels 3 through whatever you enabled in cubase. now these instruments can be processed individually in cubase as seperate channels |
