Footy shirt in London

So if I would buy a footy shirt (an Arsenal shirt to be more exact :D ) when I'm in London, what place would be the best to make a deal? I don't want to get totally ripped off. Or shouldn't I bother at all? :p

I can't understand why on earth someone would want to own a shirt to a football team they have no tie with.

I think I remember there also being a thread in the chillout room about some foreigner wanting to know where he could get an England shirt. What the ?
Cloudburst
I have a tie with em! I met the whole team once and talked briefly with Ian Wright. :p
DJ Mikey Mike
Your tie to them is that you 'met them?' Sorry, but that is not a tie.

Being born in London is a tie. Having family born in London would constitute as a tie. I can't think of anything else that would count. Don't get the shirt.

if anything you'd think that would deter you from supporting them

Sport and soccer would be the cheapest place to buy a shirt by far, they have stores in most town centers and in out of town centers also.

oh off you blert, Arsenal can buy small Belgian football teams but foreigners can't put money into the club to help it make enough money to compete?

what a boring and stupid thing to say

fair enough if you're from rochdale and support Chelsea or something, but plenty of us buy foreign shirts even though we have no tie whatsoever with a club abroad...

cloudburst you will more than likely get arrested for having al qaeda links with a photo like that.

to be fair Mike i think you're talking guff on this one. Loads of people buy shirts they have no tie with. I own a Real Madrid shirt. I've had a Bayern Munich shirt, and may aquire a Portugal shirt too after the WC (unless they beat us, again). I dont believe u have to have a tie to own a shirt, unless it was an english club teams shirt, but thats only because im an englishman.

But Arsenal is as english as the french national team :p

I wouldn't buy any other footy shirts other than Liverpool's and Englands. The thought of buying another clubs top and wearing it proudly on my chest makes me sick to my stomach.
