Weak! I wish I would have known that before I left, or I would have stuck around... :(

I'm not sure I understand the assignment.

Can you clarify it a bit?
DJ RJT
Hahaha... Essentially she wants 3 causes and four consequences for the following events:

- Russian Revolution
- WW1
- WW2
- Cold War

And if possible, she wants them related to the list of events posted in the initial post.

Basically it's a rephrased version of a question I've answered about a million times already and for some reason just can't seem to find an inspired response for.

This assignment seems to be very Russo-centric. If I am correct, then what is the reason for her asking about events that are related to the Pacific Theater since Russian participation there was just about non-existent until the fall of Berlin.

Furthermore, if she is asking for causes and effects of World War II - then it seems to be paradoxical to ask to relate them to events that happened during the period in question since the assignment itself requests information about what happened BEFORE and AFTER World War II, not DURING it.

Not ragging on you, I just think your instructor sucks.

No worries m8 - There was an entire thread about how piss poor this Professor happens to be... :)

And yeah - I just have no idea how to even approach that... we'll see what happens, it's now the only one I have left as I just finished all the other papers :)

I'd like to consider myself fairly well versed when it comes to World War II, but this assignment just seems very awkward. I guess I could do a brief synopsis of reasons and outcomes of every even that she listed for World War II if that would be of help :)

Lol... nah man, I'm going to get to it now, but I've been thinking...

I've put an immense amount of effort into this assignment thus far; I have also refrained from getting all that high this week as a necessary means to completing the work. At this point, however, I'm just ready to be done with it and honestly, with the relative ease with which I can bull a paper of such broad scope, I'm thinking that just getting stoned and then approaching the topic may perhaps allow me to bull & at least enjoy myself while doing it...

Thoughts?

Dude, if she's asking for a 2-3 page paper on what are considered to be some of the greatest events in human history - then I can't see how you can possibly do it without bullting it.

Every single one of those events that she listed has dozens, and for some of them - thousands of books devoted to the event. And she wants you to condense it into 2-3 sentence snippets? yeah, I'd get high and do it.

By the way, I'd love to see anything that you wrote on World War II :)

WHAT, 2-3 pages.... I couldn't cover all that in only 3 pages.... I did a 15 pager on the New Economic Policy alone! How can one cover all that in 3 pages. I presume she's just looking for a simplistic overview, shameful... what good is that.

My senior thesis was a 40 page paper on the differences of perception on World War II between Anglo-American, German and Soviet historians and I thought I got off pretty light.

Yes, this entire thing is shameful and awful. I don't even know where to begin simply based on the fact that I don't understand how to cover all the ground she's asking to be covered in 2-5 pages... :(

I'm seriously sitting here staring at the screen just wondering what the I'm going to do about this...

You have at most a paragraph for each thing.... that's enough room to identify it, give a primary school level explenation of it, and tie it into the larger topic... that's it. You can't get in depth on anything.
