Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis

now, i am fully aware that there is a gaming forum here, but I kinda wanted to stir up a Cor discussion on this game.
For Xbox 360, Table Tennis could be the greatest, most addictive sports game ever made. Play it drunk, play it stoned, play it sober, its so in amazing.
The best part about it is the soundtrack. All sorts of chillout edm that suits the rhythm of ping-pong perfectly.
anyone played?
all you 360 owners NEED to pick this game up. it was released new for 39.99. one of the cheapest 360 games you can find. |

My reading comprehension skills are at a minimum right now... My bad.
I've been waiting to play this game though - Mixed reviews, some people have said wonderful things, some say it's far too simplistic. Following your glowing review I'm certain I'll give it a go though... :) |

| I played that game...I didn't really get what was so fun about it. I was waiting for it to go into a mode where I could shoot my opponent or something--AT LEAST give us a chance to carjack...but alas, it was just table tennis :( |

This game would be 50 million times better for Nintendo's Wii.
I can't believe that as much as computing power and graphics have evolved in the past 15 years that the controller stayed pretty much the same for the past 20.
Nintendo might not have the raw horsepower to compete with PS3 and X-box, but they have always been innovators and they took a very daring step with Wii. They will revolutionize gaming yet again. |

Unfortunately, the game doesn't have a very in-depth single player or very much replay value.
XBOX Live is where it's at.
Otherwise, this is more addicting than Top Spin 2. :) Simple awesome.
And for the ones expecting Rockstar to insert a hidden sex game... This comic came out today, coincidentally.

Please do! Its the kind of game you and lucid could chill out to after a bong session. When high, this game is digital crack.

Its all about the multiplayer. Play it with some friends or something. The game gets better as YOU get better. When everyone thats playing sucks ass at the game, its not really fun (pretty much the case with any game, though, amirite) I'd say give it another go. Isnt it hilarious when you get a ridiculous rally going and hard techno just comes out of nowhere and starts playing in the background..? :stongue:
Yan knows what hes talkin about. This game is totally made for multiplayer. either have a friend with another controller next to you, or get an xbox live account. |
