I love Markus Schultz!! He played amazing tunes, and I LOVE when a DJ will throw down a few surprises in some ol skool classics. I know some of you may disagree, but thats just what I like...I was the happiest girl in the place! :crazy:
Matthew Dekay: Great tunes, had me dancin the whole time, and BOY IS HE YUMMY!!! :crazy: :eyes: wow!
One of the best nights I have had in a while (sans the ferry party which was awesome!) Loved the people, the tunes, the DJ's (jason included!), and all the space to dance!
(on that note, I was wondering how the DJ's feel when the place is half empty???) That would make me feel a lil unmotivated!!

I had a good time last night. Walked in around 11:45 and Jason was appropriately banging it out. Everyone was really into his set. Matt Dekay came on at 12:30 or so and basically played the same track for an hour straight....straight banging house / electro stuff. I was actually pretty bored until about 1:30 or so when he started playing more progressivey stuff. Also, I don't know if it was me or not, but the sound in there was so damn bassy later on in the night, it was actually hurting my ears. Dekay dropped some great tracks towards the end of his set, but I they seemed so distorted. I don't know if he was just pushing the gains too much or what, but I remembered that room sounding much better than that the previous times I have been there.
One of my guilty pleasures of the night....I went to take a piss and the dj in the side room was banging it out with hardstyle which I haven't heard out in like 4 years. Definitely got a laugh out of that.
Good seeing all the TAs out as usual. |
