Vegas is probably the only city where a kid can drop out of highschool and make over 100k a year bartending or slinging drinks lol. I know people who have there Masters or Law degrees and still bartend because they make alot of money. |

Los Vegas has liberal social programs? This is news to me.
When I first arrived at Stanford, I read (and I think I posted about this in the big thread) that the worst city to be homeless in in the USA was Los Vegas with San Francisco a close 2nd.
Los Vegas has incentive to keep the homeless out of sight because of tourism. That San Francisco was 2nd was a surprise because of the more liberal slant. |
