It was a considerably slow night @ Spundae due to EDC and Sasha's last Fundacion and there was defintely a TA drought  but overall the vibes were good and the music was top notch.
I missed Carlos' set but I'm sure he did a fantastic job.
Remy and Perry did their thing as usual. I really enjoy both of these guys' DJ sets and productions, so this was no surprise to me.
M.I.K.E. showed up near a quarter of 2 and we had to get this man drinking and fast!
Explained to him that is was definitely a slower night than it had been for his previous shows, but he was totally positive and said, "Well, this means the people that ARE here love the music, so that's great".
(He is still one of the most genuine DJ/Producers I have come across in this scene for reasons just like this)
M.I.K.E. played a flawless set as expected and dropped a load of new tunes including one of my new favorite collabs between him and Andrew Bennett. HOT CHOON!
He also was kind enough to bring some Club Elite T-shirts to give out and also some copies of his Perfect Blend album. I know there were a couple very happy TA's :D
Look forward to having M.I.K.E back again and of course it would be nice to see Perry and Remy out again too :)
I'll post a couple pics when I can.

L.A. has got to be one of the only places in the world that you can have a dilema like J00F, Infected Mushroom, Ferry vs. Sasha vs. Perry O'neil, M.I.K.E. We had more talent playing here on Saturday than most citys get in an entire year. I LOVE IT!!!!
Back to the review, where is M.I.K.E.'s TL Refuge? |
