| Drunk & about to pass out, but thanks to all who made it. Garth and Tony there's still people drinking at my place if you're still at Vision right now. Anyway Tagging with RJ was a success and lots of fun. The whole set went generally well, with the exception of the very last track when I couldn't find my case and the only 2 tracks I had to choose from on the table were Drum Honey & the joke CD I had out...Binary Finary. Neither one was going to work, but the rest of it went ok once I could adjust the song mixing in blindy with the monitor. Ashame that no one dressed up for the 70's theme they wanted to do, but finally getting to wear the macho man coat was a great experience. A'ight lets get ready to drink again tomorrow. |

| sorry i didnt make it out, after trying to forget about how ty i felt yesterday by drinking a liter of vodka i fell up the stairs and destroyed my toe and wasn't going to go out in such condition. if you guys are hanging out later today ill come meet up after the cubs/sox game. |

hmm, narcisse review?
i had a good time - having RJ tag team with us was a great idea and it worked out very well. i also drank a lot, i think that's a given. after narcisse i tried to go to Vision and was denied entry due to lack of ID. ended up back at andy's house in the morning, sat around on the roof for about 3 hours with garth and tony and at 2 pm on sunday we decided to go to the zoo. so we took tony to the petting zoo so he could touch the goats, took a few pictures, walked around,
got back to the house just in time for the barbecue to start, ate and drank profusely even with massive hangover. brought the decks out to the patio, i think i played flashdance at 142 bpm and andy topped me by playing muscle car at 143 bpm. drank some more, then everyone went to wet, few people stayed and we spun a bunch more records and drank. at 2 am everyone left, i caught a 30-45 minutes nap at which time everyone came back from wet. me and garth resumed drinking and playing records.
out of the blue bobby stopped by with his new boy toy in tow and we had a great time. then some wacky stuff happened, me and garth were spinning on the patio, he gave me 2 ambien and that pretty much closed out my consciousness with a massive crash and a 6 hour memory gap.
thats the cliff notes version. in reality there's a whole bunch of other stuff that's happened (like we lost andy for 4 hours) but for the sake of sparing everyone the potential embarassment - we'll just save those stories for the next get together :cool: |
