Hello.
Here's my new work. It's a psy-trance or rather just 145 bpm trance with fast bassline. Hope to hear someone's opinion.

Filesize: 9 mb.

janeysteam - lonely hearts above.

Im not a psy-trance producer but - ill appreciate the genre haha. i would say that its a decent sequence job.. kick needs to be brought up a bit i think also it comes down to preference but typically synths need a lot more verb on them to help blend them in better - just a suggestion

Keep it up

A bit dark for my taste, but you do have some good psy elements scattered around in there. My attraction to psy is mainly full on with a really moving full bassline which this doesn't really have. thanks for sharing tho.

I like the intro. You got a nice thriller atmosphere in this :nervous: ! Nice speak too. Mutch energy. Well done!

You really need to change the bassline. It's rather annoying and it's all the same for the whole track. Try to pull it down maybe one octave for the first bit ;)

Overall the track is rather monotonous, maybe you should try to add more variations and some more synths/effects that "widen" the track. Production quality is good

What was really good was the asian instrument (dunno what it's called)!

Your kick drum is lacking high end. Your bassline could benefit from using a different synth patch. Sounds like there is reverb on your bassline? It's definitely interfering with your kick drum. I might try to also adjust the velocity on some of your bassnotes. Something like this...

rather than...

Kick dun dun dun Kick dun dun dun Kick dun dun dun Kick dun dun dun

(where dun = bass note)

Something like this...

Kick dun DUN dun Kick dun DUN dun Kick dun DUN dun Kick dun DUN DUN

(where DUN = bass note with harder velocity)

will give your bassline more bounce.

Some of your other sounds are pretty cool. I might try using sidechaine compression on that asian instrument. Could be interesting.

Good start ;)
