What are the hardest levels you've played (in any game)?

1. Doom 3 (X-Box) when you have to fight that huge demon in hell. I stil can't beat that SOB.:(
2. Half-Life 2 when there are several air-crafts hovering overhead and you have to shoot them down with laser-guided missles. This took me about 20 attempts and was was frustrating as hell! |

Wow. That's a hard question considering the amount of games I've completed. Also, we're taking difficulty settings into consideration.
Hardest setting on Timesplitters 2 just about owns me in EVERY stage.
I can't really think of anything else at the moment. |

I remember beating the final boss in Silent Hill 3 with a kitchen knife :nervous: Stick - Move - Stick - Move :D
Sort of like masturbating with a cheese-shredder  |

master system: r-type (side-scrolling shooter). fvcking impossible.
i think almost all modern games to be pretty easy in comparison to the days of yore. developers dont wanna piss people off with games that are too difficult. but, for PC, id nominate
ravenshield - no saves and trigger-happy terrorists. keep getting myself & hostages killed. frustrating as hell.
the reason doom 3 might be so hard is coz gamepads suck for shooters ;) |

muthain werd.
milon's secret castle was hard! me and the sis were never able to get past the last level.
also, joust is ing impossible once the pterodactyl shows up.
also, dungeon master (atari 1040st) is impossible once you get to that level where the magic using creatures are.
you, mummies!

also, rogue and rogue 2 (atari 1040st) are impossible because you run out of food and water and cant find any ing gourds or pieces of bread, and then all the enemies kill you in 1 hit anyways
you, hobgoblins!!!!!

the underworld in ultima 5 (atari) is really damn hard unless you have a walkthrough, because the world is huuuge. |

oh man ultima 5... madness
used to love trying to kill town guards... when astaroth took over a town
yeah hated the underworld too, and the dungeon that was down there (not the ones that surface with the overworld... although trying to raid the dragon room in the bottom of destard was nuts when at low levels... but the loot!) |

First Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - there was this crazy hard jump in the sewers and if you feel into it that turtle would die
Friday the 13th - I never got the pitchfork but I could kill his mother and get the torch.
Once 16-bit came around and save features were possible I never had trouble with a game. |

| I'd say hl2e1 the part with all those frcking zombies while you wait for the elevator. After dying like 5 times I had to take the difficulty down from hard to easy to beat it :( |
