Midi keyboard problem with Cubase and Reason rewired

When im tryin to use my midi keyboard (e-mu xboard 25) in Cubase SX3, it effects stuff in Reason e.g. redrum pans, velocities - i didnt notice this till after i went back into reason, as i was tryin to eq some tracks in cubase and had reason minimised.
I have my keyboard set up in cubase in the generic remote and works perfectly on its own - i just get this problem when im rewiring.
I tried using the keyboard on a different channel, tried disabling it in reason, tried assigning it to a specific module in reason that i wasnt even using (a spare subtractor or whatever)- nothing helps
Any ideas on how to overcome this problem, apart from not rewiring!
Thanks :D

simple when your using rewire in cubase or any sequencer and want to
play your synth and not use reason dont assign it ,go into reason and uncheck the instrument its assigned to.

hey, i didnt specifically assign my controller (and its connected via USB) to anything in reason, however, ill try and unassign the knobs its moving with that clear remote override mapping, thanks!
