If i could afford to spend the winters there, I would spend every winter there. Hands down, best food, best wine, best shopping, best style of any place I have been. Only problem is the crime... and although we never had any problems, it is evident everywhere, even in capetown. |

Been to Cape Town many times in my life. And I agree with everything you've said. It is sad there is such high crime and crime hysteria. It almost causes the inhabitants to ignore the sheer beauty of their land.
Its a sad tale of 2 worlds. One who lives in complete splendor and beauty the other in squallor 3rd world conditions. |

I dunno. i havent done much traveling so I dont have a feel for many cities around the world. I will always consider the GTA my home though no matter where I end up (if anywhere else).
when in other cities it just feels wierd...and when you come back home its such a nice feeling here. Could be just because im used to it being my home, I dunno. Well it definately feels strange when im in the US. I just dont like it. |

In the Carribean, for most of the year, and probably in Vancouver or Victoria for the rest of it. No need to explain this. |
I used to think that too until i realized that the 3rd world lifestyle would get to me very, very quickly. I don't wanna see half-naked people living in shantis when i leave the house. |
