so tonite one of my friend invited me and some friends to a house party the fact is that my friends and myself realized we so didn't want to go over tonite and spend the whole nite and sleep over there .
my friend who organizes the party is living in a hole in the countryside and well better to be honest we spent the whole nite with our friend and her guys's friends and we so didn't appreciate them and almost didn't talk to them at all so .....my point is should i call my friend to tell her that i would prefer we do something in town like bars clubbing and so on or should we go to the house party because it's after all our friend but at like 10 pm or something just say we have to go and go party on our own ?
or ....make up a lame excuse and just say we all can't go ?
advices needed please! |

ya dont pull excuses, my buddy and his GF pull that crap all the time, like if they come over, they leave at 6:30 because "they worked all day and are tired and want to go to bed" i work 12 hour days, and still have enough energy to go partying after.
just be honest...... not brutally honest tho.... telling your friend that you think their house is an absolute e hole wont help you at all, but just point out that you dont feel like going all the way to the country |

well the fact is yesterday she was telling in front of her friends "aww so happy that my best friend is comming tomorrow i love you marie !!" so well now what can i do?
be honest but im scared to be i don't want to be mean !

well if you want my honest opinion. just suck it up and go spend some time with your friend. if she is a good friend, you owe her that. i have some old friends taht arent ont he same page as i am anymore (they went off the deep end) but i still make time to hang out as they are my friends and would still bend over back wards for me if i needed them.
In the end youll feel better about the whole stiutation. besides, last time i checked, the weeekend was more than one night. go out and party one of the nights, go see your friend the next! |

Are you needing to reavaluate your friendship with this person or you just don't want to go there ( now or ever as a matter of fact ) ?
You made plans and pulling out isn't cool. Whenever people do it to me it pisses me off ( but usuallly they tell me when it's too late ).
Having acquaintances is easy but having long term friends takes some work on both parts to stay alive. Be honest the earliest! |

im a loyal friend but well i just can't stand the friends of her bf so boring and stupid .Add the fact these guys are real playa thinking they are so cool because they are in the police and trying to show off :rolleyes:
one of them the last time i went to a party with these guys spent his whole nite hitting on me while i was drunk half sleeping and at the end i felt like slapping this guy so well u understand why i don't want to go AT ALL !
so anyway im off gotta bring back home a friend so i need to think about it:nervous: |

show up sporting a NWA " Da Police" tshirt. bring an appetizer like pigs in a blanket, or baccon wrapped scallops.... make oinking noises all night, and only call the friends of the BF by the name 50, Narc and Po-Po all night.
This will A- make for a funny story on TA tommrow, B- they wont hit on you, well maybe not anyways |

if you make up and excuse and hit the clubs instead, chances are you'll feel guilty, or else you wouldn't even be asking this question right ?
so .... make an excuse ( say you're not up for it tonight or somehting)
and get drunk at home. |
