Studio Design Help

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me...I'm after some ideas and photos of a studio set up for a new room in my house. I know there's a 'bedroom DJ's post your pics' thread on this forum but seriously, ill be knackered if I look through 400+ pages!! lol

What I'm mainly after is the decks/mixer etc to be integrated into the desk and not just sitting on it. And another desk for dual screen production PC.

If anyone knows of any high quality ideas such as Robert Miles studio (below) etc I'd love to hear from you!

Many thanks in advance for your help.

i don't mean this in an offensive way, but come up with your own ideas. you have a general idea of what you want...so just incorporate all of them together. if you're going to customize something, you should do exactly that...customize to your needs. i'm sure you're creative...you know what space you have to use...you just need to lay it out...

i mean just look at the robert miles studio you posted. the desk setup isn't anything special. the design of the rest of the room is what makes it awesome.

so then what are you really looking for? just regular interior design ideas?

ther's plenty of threads around this forum and the prod forum about building your own studio and constructing furniture...btw i like the pic...looks like its not exactly too effiecint but definatlye a pretty room to work in!

go into your profile settings, and theres a way to change how many posts there are per age, i think the max is either 40 or 50, something like that, right now ur on "forum default". i eventually browsed that entire thread that way, its about 130 pages now, not too bad. plus i have a design ready for my booth from it, that one looks damn nice though. would be killer on my back at 6'4" though.

Why was that pic taken with a fisheye lens? :wtf:

By the way, another way to make the bedroom setup thread a little easier to digest is to go to your profile options, and set it so more posts appear on a single page. For example i have mine on the max setting, haven't a clue what that is, but i 'only' have a 134 pages to go through..

It's well worth it as there are a good few set ups in there which could give you ideas. Which you can then adapt. It's by far the best way to go about it.

Change the settings and start hunting! We're all basically on broadband (sweeping statement don't take literally lol) so you have no excuses!

*Nevermind the above, i should read the whole thread instead of trying to advise people on things that have already been advised lol! Sorry bout that..

Either way i remember there being a slate table that had some vestax decks, plus a vestax pcv275 mixer built into it. That's one that sticks out in my head anyway.

Quite a few people have gone with the flush look actually. Check it out :)

Give this a go Mikey - http://sketchup.google.com/products.html

Hopefully it'll do the job for you if you're only looking for a freebie, easy 3D modelling software.

I'm gonna give it a go tonight. :)

It kinda depends how many chicken breats sandwiches for 99 cents at wendy's you want to spend. (I mean cash)

Argosy is a company that makes tables and such for console mixers and personal workstations etc. something like that anyways.

kinda cool stuff!! check it out.

P.S. This might help you decide what kind of style/atmosphere you want in your studio. so you could kinda base things around that table or stuff like that. i don't know. you might... :D
