you're an interesting one. You say it's wrong of me to generalize the people that go to guv. You respond to that with your own gereralizations, and insults. You then say it was wrong of both of us to make generalizations. You also attempt to use no puncuation. Wouldn't you agree that the crowd at the guv tends to be of a higher concentration of the "i wana pick up, i wana start fights" people? As far as your comments about drug use at system, it no doubt goes on. I'm no expert as to what percentage of people at system or guv are on whatever drugs. However, I have a lot of memories of MASSIVE amounts of people passed out in chairs and laying all over eachother at guv. I won't even get into the hordes of scary old drugged up men there staring at the girls. That doesn't seem to be so much of a problem at system. Anyway, there is a post full of facts that i've seen, rather then generalizations.
perhaps i'll get called a "ugly raver" again. That would be really special.

I posted that comment for a reason. To show how dumb it is to generalize a group of people. It doesnt sound right when I do it but when other people on this board do it in reference to another club/people in the city is ok.

you will get that everywhere you go where you have large groups of people gathered of the opposite sex, sorry not everyone is asexual like you might be and doesnt enjoy meeting people of the other sex! persoanally I like going out and meeting girls, whats wrong with that??? you mention how you saw people all cracked out/passed out at GUV, right I NEEEEEEEEEEEEVER saw that in the back room of system/under that white cloth thingy that had going on in the back!

you continue to lower your standards yet again. Now I'm asexual just because I don't want to be around muscle guys with their shirts off? Last time I checked there were girls at system. Next time you're there, keep your eyes open. I go out for the music and the atmosphere, not for girls. If that's what you're out for, the guv is probably a much better place for you. Anyway, I refuse to argue about this anymore. Not because I don't have ground to stand on, more because you don't seem to be able to argue at all without resorting to grade 5 name calling.

YEA hmmmmmm I was @ GUV this past Saturday and saw how many guys with their shirts off??? 0...thats right NONE!!! Last time I checked (last friday for Pappa) there werent that many girls at System (possibly because it is listed as a Gay Night on Fridays). Anyways I never said there werent any girls at System but thanks for bringing it up anyways lol.

I would insult you, but your inept posts do more then an adequate enough job. I'd also like to think that I'm not only above your level of maturity, but very clearly, your intelligence too. Ummmmm..... What does any of this have to do with anything? I think there should be a special 'anti- Guv' thread if people insist on bringing it up everywhere. Sheesh! You 2 should just PM each other with these comments.
I think most people who saw Mauro at system in Dec.2000 would not say the crowd was any sleazier than normal- just the most crowded the club ever was. Maybe it would be a bit worse now since his popularity has multiplied 100-fold, but I'd much rather see him play at System than anywhere else in town. |

| Okay, just finished reading the heated discussion between Special K and Failsafe and all I have to say is that neither of you (or anyone for that matter) can generalize any characterization of ravers or non-ravers unless they knew every raver or non-raver there was. Oh, and Special K, I would like to remove myself from your generalization. I'm a raver and I'm very classy, hardly trashy, and certainly not ugly (not trying to seem conceited, just making an assertion). You know, there are a lot of people that call themselves ravers that don't even look like one. Actually, I'm not sure how one would classify a raver. I usually go by the clothes one wears and if one parties a lot. |

I thought the whole "conversation" was quite funny... its good Mauro is not going to System - cause the GUV was RAMMED as it was when he was there... and system has like 1/2 the capacity... although it doesn't matter I don't goto system anymore - I think its a hole.
