Going to Puerto Rico

Last minute plans ... I'm going to San Juan this weekend Saturday - Tuesday.
Any recommendations on what to do, where to go, what to avoid, where to stay etc. would be much appreciated.
What clubs to go to? Beaches? Though I see it's supposed to be stormy.
Any good parties going on?
/for some reason marak5 was the first person who came to mind ... but i'm not really into that. |

nah, didn't get posponed. I just gotta work a lot tonight and tommorow. Tomorrow being quarter end makes more work for me. Got someone else to cover me on Monday and Tuesday. |

grand casino if you gamble
bioluminescent tour is a spectacular tour to see
didn't go to any clubs but found sitting beach side at a pr cafe drinking sangria smoking some cubans equally satisfying. Have fun, and yes it's ok to talk to puerto rican chicks, they love us tourist ;) |

| I just got back from P.R., St. Maarten and St. Thomas. The only place we had time to go to was a place called Senor Frogs. It was a real good place to drink and party. Only stayed till 11 cause we had to get back to the cruise ship. But I must say, I had a really good time there. Have Fun!!!:crazy: :crazy: |

Just got back. Had a blast.
Anyone who goes must most definately make a trip to Culebra - another island 17 miles off the east coast. Best crystal clear beaches and great snorkling. You can drive around and find secluded spots with the beach entirely to yourself. We spent 2 days there which wasn't enough.
San Juan was pretty cool as well. One night we stayed at a beach house at Isla Verde and they had some dj playing some good trance right on the beach.
Oh, and I bumped into EliPsE/Gabe last night. They were staying at the same hotel we were at.
On our way back from Culebra we stopped to watch the Germany-Italy game and missed our flight. Had to take the 2am flight back to JFK. Cool thing was that we went back to the hotel and they gave us a room to freshen up and change and held onto our bags while we went out for dinner and more drinking.

wow this is awesome...thanks for all the information...Ill def keep it in mind if/when I do go. been wanting to go on vacation for awhiles now...
yeah Gabe's been texting me the past two days...he is NUTS...going to Toronto THEN jetsetting to PR...just lounging around on the beach, lucky bastard :whip: gonna scuba today i think. damns all that sun and beach over there, and us getting sh*tty weather here...grrr |
