i sometimes wish i had some film schooling behind me. i figured it out as i went along. but why did u become a film major if you hate it. dont tell me you like to watch movies so... |

lol... nah its not just about movies. I took a film type class during my senior year of high school and really enjoyed it. As the year was wrapping up I was trying to decide what I would choose as a major while applying. I had no idea what I wanted to do so I just chose film because theres a REALLY good film school here. I knew that I'd be able to change majors if I wanted anyway, plus due to my sub-par HS grades, film seemed like something easy to get into. :p
honestly tho it was boring and full of "omg look at me I'm suuuuuuuuuch an individual" type of people who make 10 minute videos about a leaf changing from green to brown and how its so symbolic for their depressing lives. that |

oh i thought it be about script writing, lighting, sound engineering, editing... there's a load of stuff to know, its not easy making something half decent. i still don't know if i have what it takes to make it in the film world. i do low budget education documentaries and stardard event videoing. hollywood stuff is a completely different world. |
