| Here's the situation: There are only TWO clubs in my area that have established house music nights and both of these clubs have firmly-planted resident DJs. I've given demos to both clubs and have followed up with emails and such. A promoter from one of the clubs said he liked the cd but didnt offer me any gigs or anything like that. I know my mixing is flawless and my track selection is good so its not like they're not contacting me because I'm a ty DJ or anything - it's just because these clubs already have established residents. So my question is: how do I crack open these clubs to get heard other than renting out the place myself? |
