God's Groove - Prayer Five (We Can Fly)
Year: 1992
Anyone remember God's Groove? It's funny that they are almost never mentioned here around. Even though they were long before their time and were one of the earliest hardtrance producers.
God's Groove released eight (!) tunes named Prayer One, Prayer Two, Prayer Three and so on from 1992 to 1993. Although it was Prayer Five which gained most of the popularity. In 1994 they released their only album called Elements of Nature. The name describes some of the samples and pieces used for all the tunes. Included on the album was also the pumping menace tune Back To Nature (Pure Hemp mix)
Two more singles followed before the project was abandoned in 1995.
The guys behind God's Groove are Felix J. Gauder and Nico Herz. Felix J. Gauder continued to produce after he quit the project and went to produce cheesy mainstream dance. He is most known for his work with the eurodance acts E-Rotic and Novaspace.
