so i was listening to komodo (on air mix) by mauro picotto, and then later in the day i was listening to sweet lullaby by deep forest

....same thing????

Yep well the sample in Komodo, the pygmy chanting/singing is taken from Deep Forest's "Sweet Lullaby", a great tune by the way, probably one of Deep Forest's best.

no it's not.

It's the same tune, but picotto actually added words to it. The Original Sweet Lullaby track has no actual words.

Well it had words, it just wasn't sung in english. But that was the pygmy singing part. The words to it were added, yes. But maybe your talking of a different mix (perhaps a vocal mix), the one I heard had the singing during the breakdown from that tune.
